I trust all is well in your part of the Lord’s Vineyard.
I reached out to you because of our unique and special relationship. I am thankful to the Lord for the times He has allowed us to serve together.
This is an exciting, challenging, and somewhat uncertain season of repositioning in my life. Three years ago, I stood before the Champions of Faithful Central Bible Church and asked them to pray this prayer with me:
“Lord, show me Your will, and I will do it;
You open the door, and I will go through it!”
Little did I know that this prayer would guide my life through a prophetic and divinely-timed transition from the post where I had served for over four decades into a new season of unknown, untraveled divine destiny.
In February 2023, I declared: “I want to finish well; and be well when I finish.” I now find myself echoing the words of Saul from Act 9:6 (NKJV) as he lay in the dust on the road to Damascus:
So he, trembling and astonished, said,
“Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Over and over again, I have prayed this prayer for the past 18 months. I have asked the Lord where I fit in His Kingdom. What is my next assignment? How can I best serve the Lord in this season of my life?
I have prayed this prayer with the sincere desire to steward my 45 years of ministry experience and with the prayerful plea of a prophecy declared over me on my 50th birthday celebration: “Your latter days shall be greater than your former days.”
My friend, I find myself standing in the valley with the senior saint, Caleb, before the Joshua generation asking for help: “Give me this mountain” is the humble request by this octogenarian to the younger generation. In the next verse, Caleb was blessed and encouraged by Joshua.
The Lord has graciously given me a network of national and international ministries, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends like you. Like Caleb, I am trusting the Lord in this new season and asking for your help.
I have asked the Lord for a core of 70 ministry partners—following the example of our Lord when He chose 70 to expand the impact of the gospel.
I am following the example of Paul, who thanked the Philippian church for partnering with him at the beginning of his call to extend the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world.
I am trusting the model of Moses who had an Aaron and a Hur to hold up his arms in the fatigue of his senior years of Kingdom obedience.
I am asking you to be part of the CORE 70, a select group of friends and colleagues who will partner with me in ongoing prayer and financial support.
The plan God has given me is to steward 45 years of ministry and leadership through Kenneth C. Ulmer Ministries.
My goal is to equip and empower Kingdom leaders in ministry and leadership through training and personal coaching.
My mission is to provide effective training, practical resources, and meaningful partnership to spiritually equip and practically empower men and women of God.
I am especially trusting the Lord to give me partners like you to help me help churches, pastors, and leaders of all ministry sizes—large and not so large—including anointed “less-than-mega” ministries being used of God to build disciples and congregations in these last and evil days.
Today, I am asking you to help me … or, as Paul said in Philippians 4:15, “partner with me” in this new season of my life.
Help me steward the resources created, lessons learned, and successes of the past as I serve the next generation of Kingdom leaders.
Please consider including Kenneth C. Ulmer Ministries in your Missions/Outreach budget and ministry.
You are in the position to not only influence and instruct the disposition and direction of outreach funds of your church, but you are also able to direct and solicit prayers to cover and lift me up in this new season of Kingdom service.
I believe this is one of the reasons the Lord allowed our lives to touch—for such a time as this. I continue in the spirit of Paul, “not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.”
Please join me in this season of ministry and become one of the CORE 70.
Like Nehemiah, I must stay on the wall building the Kingdom. But, like Paul, I need your partnership. Please let me know your thoughts. I look forward to hearing from you.
For the Kingdom,
Kenneth C. Ulmer
